I just asked a question about what a great way to do a theme for my daughters room. She will be 1 1/2 and getting into her toddler bed, and I wanted a theme that wasnt artoony and would last till at least 5. Well I got a great answer about a french/country tea party garden. Where can I find crib matress sized linnens and what colors would I use on walls and bedding and drapes? I dont want wild colors or anything. Simple luxurious fabrics and colors please. As of now she has tan burber carpet but I think I want to switch to bamboo hardwood. Her furniture is cherry so would a sandy/medium brown wood color be ok with that? Any thoughts on where to find some great decor to go along. Please nothing to childish. I’d like it to be tasteful yet fun and classy. Not beyond her age, just not like dora the explorer type stuff.
Well as of now her walls are ivory on top yellow chair rails and trim and sagey green wainscoting. We have apinted before we knew whether or not she was a boy or girl so the paint was neutral. I would like to throw some more girly colors in there. And I really love like super super light lavendary colors.

We move into our first purchased home this Saturday. We managed to get a better deal for a FAST ckosing date, which means we only have FIVE (yes, FIVE) days to pack our home, set up utilities, everything. (We move into it this Saturday).
So, I need some tips on how to make this go easier. My fiance is working a ton of overtime this week, which he booked in for months ago. So, he’s pretty busy, and I will be doing pretty much everything myself (packing, phone calls, organizing the move).

To complicate things, we have a 5 yr old, 3 cats, a dog, AND I am 37 weeks pregnant.

If you have any hints or tips to help make this easier, let me know PLEEEASE! Kind of like a timeline of what I should be doing day by day would be handy. I am donating a TON of our unused items to cut down on moving un necessary items, so it should help a bit. Also, our new home is only 2 blocks from where we currently live.

Moving hints, tips, and new home decor tips would be handy!

THANK YOU!!!

Marie

Im new to all this business thing and to be honest I dont know where to start! I have a product line Id like to get going (gift/home decor type products marketed towards younger and older women) and I have all these ideas and designs that Ive done for the products, but I don’t know whats the next step? my ideal destiny for my brand would be for them to be sold at retail stores nationwide(gift shops/dept stores/etc). Anyways, I heard about setting up a booth at a trade show, but what exactly is a trade show? Would I have to have these products already manufactured? Would the attendees want to place orders right then and there? Or what about a licensing firm? I dont know, I only have these ideas and concept designs, I would need to have someone make them professionally. Well any information would help, thanks to all!

The reception will be held at our home. Small cabin type in the woods with huge shed and also putting up huge tents to accomadate about 500 guests.
We are planning on roasting a pig. What other ideas for food? It’s nothing too formal. Decor is the only thing kinda formal. DJ will be in the shed for dancing later on. Prolly make it a buffet type just because there is so much family to feed. We have plenty of roasters to work with. Ideas for anything? Decor ideas welcome too!

Hello everybody! I need help! I like all the new and funky ideas they are doing with weddings these days, and I guess I just need some help with it! Our wedding is next Spring, but I am trying to get as much done now as possible:) My main problem is decorating the inside of the reception site. We are having an outside/garden/country feel wedding, and I am needing some decorating ideas for the reception. Here is some pics of stuff that I like, but am unsure how to incorporate it all together. I wish I had a picture of a good centerpiece idea, that way I could just copy it! haha. Anyway, here goes…
